On this ethical day of Eid ul Azha, the Muslims are on a fast from the very morning and break their fast by looking at the moon, in the evening. Eid is the festival of Muslim communities through which they share the bond of love, care and express their bond of brotherhood by hugging each other. On this day they all give presents to all the members including children to the elders.

Eid is celebrated in the remembrance of the Quranic tale of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS)’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah (SWT) before the Almighty replaced his son with a ram to be sacrificed in place.

Eid ul Azha is a splendid time of pre-holidays especially for the kids, in which they could play with the cows, sheep and goats. Eid ul Azha indicates the end of the Islamic calendar and of the yearly Hajj which is one of the five pillars of Islam and should be performed by every Muslim once in their lifetime if they could afford it.
